Role overview
The appointed candidate will handle customer enquiries, process bookings and ticketing, and promote Emirates products and services while ensuring exceptional service standards at every touchpoint.
Primary duties
- Provide clear, accurate fare and travel information across phone and digital channels.
- Issue tickets in line with airline regulations and internal procedures.
- Advise customers on passport, visa, and health requirements as well as check-in and boarding information.
- Promote ancillary products such as Skywards membership, stopover packages, and seat upgrades.
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue through value-added services.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet operational and service goals.
Eligibility & experience
- Education: Minimum HSC (12th) or equivalent; diploma/degree in travel and tourism is advantageous.
- Experience: At least 1–2 years in a contact centre, reservations, or travel-related position.
- Exposure to live chat or social media support will be favourably considered.
- Comfortable working rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
Technical & interpersonal skills
- Understanding of standard fares and ticketing practices.
- Competent with PC tools including Word, Excel and email platforms.
- Strong phone etiquette, empathy, and problem-solving ability.
- Organised, calm under pressure, and sales-minded when appropriate.
